We decided to build upon our wide and varied experience and knowledge in order to establish an innovative approach to tutoring which, unlike the current outdated belief of ‘one size fits all’, is more tailored to meet the needs of the individual. We strongly believe that education should be child-centred, based around an individual’s strengths and needs, as well as fundamentally enjoyable, with continual positive rewards, developing a child’s self-confidence and above all else, a lifelong love of learning.
We firmly believe that all communities have a role to play in education. We provide a bespoke educational plan for all our clients. No two plans are the same just as no two children are the same. This goes against the Government’s idea that one size fits all. We know that this is one of the most limiting challenges faced by students.
Bumblebees don’t know that they are not supposed to fly - they just do!
Our model is the humble bumble bee; simple, yet vital and impactful. We are the pollinators of education. For just as the bumble bee pollinates a flower, then we also ignite that educational spark, creating confidence, independence, and autonomy and above all else, a life-long love of learning. Aerodynamically, it should be impossible for bees to fly. Their bodies are deemed too heavy for their tiny wingspan and yet they fly. Similarly, we believe that if students are not held down by limitations, then anything is possible.
In addition to our traditional model of tutoring, we are able to design an individual bespoke educational programme providing a wide range of engaging learning and enrichment opportunities for students who, for a number of reasons, are not accessing mainstream education. Above all else, we believe in showing young people what it is possible to achieve when their needs are really being met and the right support is in place.
